Café Leopold (Museumsplatz 1, Vienna) – technically, this coffee shop is part of the Leopold Museum, at the heart of Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier. This means that it’s indeed a café during the day (serving not only coffee, but food items such as burgers, falafel, hummus, and dessert treats like strudel). At night, though, it turns into a loungy nightclub, playing DJ-driven dance music (sometimes Hip Hop and Jazz, too), as well as small concerts and even video projections by local experimental film-makers.
