Chaya Fuera (Kandlgasse 19-21, Vienna) – this club is best-know for live music, regardless of the genre: Viennese songs, electronic, jazz, soul and rock – with one of the best sound systems in Vienna. The acts typically booked there include Irish singer-songwriter Lisa Hannigan, the local indie-rock hero Elija, U.K. superstar Estelle, San Francisco-based indie-pop band Still Flyin’, indie rock band The Heavy, and Austrian jazz-soul greats Count Basic, among others. Along with its bar, Chaya Fuera also has a snack-kitchen, which serves burgers, salads, and sandwiches.
