Urania Observatory (Uraniastrasse 1, Vienna) – this is an observatory and public education institute that was opened in 1910 by Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I. Named after the Muse Urania, it was severely damaged during the Allied bombing campaigns against Austria during World War II.
