TAXI
TAXI – There are taxi stands in all districts in Vienna. Some have phones where you can call a taxi. The taxi fare consists of a basic fare and an extra fare that depends on the distance, duration and time of the day. The day fare (which starts at €3.80) is charged from 6am to 11pm, the night fare (which starts at €4.30) is charged from 11pm to 6am and on Sundays and public holidays. Please note that you have to pay a surcharge of €1.40 if you call a taxi by phone.
